Chefs Mark Hix and Mat Follas wowed the crowd with stunning cookery demonstrations and John Wright from River Cottage showed how to cook wild seaweed gathered in Weymouth Bay. All this plus a cross harbour swim, Fish Tucker Trials, filleting demonstrations and charity fish auctions provided a truly spectacular event. Resort Marketing produced a package of marketing material including the festival programme and menu, posters, banners and the festival website www.dorsetseafood.co.uk. The company also managed the PR campaign with the help of Lisa Worthington of Tandem Marketing. Managing Director Brian Cooper said, "We have been involved with this event from the development of the concept in 2007, and I would like to congratulate Chairman Roger Dalton, Project Manager Paul Mills, Lisa Worthington and others on the team for making it such a success". |
