A new, exciting showcase opportunity for the south west tourist industry is to be launched in January 2010 by Resort Marketing. Located at the southwest top exhibition venue, Westpoint Arena, Visit 2010 will offer destinations, attractions, activity providers and group accommodation businesses the chance to strut their stuff in front of an invited audience of teachers, group visit organisers, the travel trade, coach operators and travel journalists. Resort Marketing has been providing the tourist industry with the opportunity to attract holidaymakers and local people via the Resort series of magazines since 1992, but this is the first time the company has invested in the group leisure market and interest is growing quickly from exhibitors. Sales Manager Laura Avant said: “Our product range now offers our advertisers the opportunity to reach the two important markets they depend upon, holiday visitors using Resort 2010, and groups from schools, youth groups, clubs, associations and tour operators via Visit 2010.
